From organising dynamic career events to driving internal marketing initiatives, we are committed to creating opportunities that connect students with industry professionals. With guest talks, workshops, and networking opportunities, we empower you to confidently grow, collaborate, and launch your career.

 

We meet weekly on Tuesdays between 3 and 5 p.m. on Lancaster Campus!

We believe leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, dealmakers, marketers, speakers, CEOs, and people in other amazing positions are only successful because they stand by their identity. They choose to love who they want, fight for what they believe in, and encourage their peers to not only chase but also achieve their dreams.

Sustainable Practice

Sustainable leadership for a sustainable future.

 

At UoC's Business Society, we take time to discuss sustainability topics from various disciplines.

 

Sustainability is not a journey with a clear start or finish. It is a continuous, permanent practice that everyone should uphold to the best of their ability. It's not just about the environment and climate; it's about ensuring equity in all interpersonal relationships within and outside a professional environment. As future leaders and individuals simply interested in business, we have a crucial role to play in shaping the future and educating our peers about best practices. Our responsibility is significant, but it also empowers us to make a positive impact. Embracing healthy competition, which motivates us to strive for the best solutions, is key to protecting our planet and our fellow people, friends, family members, and partners. 

 

Through networking within and outside the university, we can connect with professionals living the reality of a game changer in sustainability matters, influencing young people to find their own truth and taking a step in their journey towards better practice.

 

At our round table, we welcome critical views about sustainability and encourage you to share your experience and inspire likeminded people with your knowledge.
